The ADAM project

What are the potentialities of the multifunctional management of irrigation in the vineyard ? How can it reduce the negative effect of the meteorological stresses, as heat waves o late frosts ? These are some of the questions that the ADAM project is willing to answer. ADAM is a project realized by the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences - Production, Territory, Agroenergy (DiSAA) of the University of Milan and co-financed by the Lombardy Region (program for the founding of research project in the agriculture and forest field, dds 28 march 2018 n.4403)

The experiment is taking place in the Azienda Agricola Ricchi winery owned by the Stefanoni brothers, in the vineyards located in Cavriana (Mantova Province, Italy). The project team would like to thank the owner for the availability and the dynamic collaboration.

Il progetto ADAM (ADAttamento della viticoltura al cambio climatico: studio del contributo dell’irrigazione Multifunzionale) esplorare le potenzialità della gestione multifunzionale dell’irrigazione in vigneto, confrontando le capacità di diversi sistemi irrigui per la minimizzazione degli effetti negativi provocati da eventi meteorologici estremi, come gli stress estivi idrici e termico-radiativi e le gelate primaverili. ADAM è un progetto realizzato dal Dipartimento di Scienze Agrarie ed Ambientali (DISAA) dell’Università degli Studi di Milano. Il progetto è cofinanziato da Regione Lombardia (bando per il finanziamento di progetti di ricerca in campo agricolo e forestale, dds 28 marzo 2018 n. 4403).
